Randy was a very fit Army paratrooper attached to the 82nd Airborne Division. After he left the Army, he raised two kids, worked full time and got caught up in the hustle and bustle of what we call "life." He suffered from health and weight issues for 21 years and tried to find different programs to lose weight, and failed miserableably, which resulted in obesity, weighing 268 pounds.
He was introduced to the love of spinning in 2016 when a friend introduced him to MyRide. At first, he was reluctant to try it, but gave it a go and eventually fell in love with the challenge along with the upbeat and supportive atmosphere. Randy lost a little over 70 pounds from spinning and circuit training. Forty five minutes will fly by while spinning to Randy’s great music. It's like having a party on a bike!
Outside the studio, Randy is a Master Autoglass Technician.
He enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He has a daughter in middle school and a son who attends ODU.
Randy enjoys the energy of a group ride, and encourages everyone to push themselves to their limits. If you are a new rider or a seasoned rider, you're welcome to come along for a fun and exciting ride!
